Experience:

Represented
one of the largest U.S. air carriers in a jury trial and appeals
through to the Texas Supreme Court establishing C.O.D. airline
contract law in Texas.
- Represented
a German aircraft manufacturer in a case involving, among other
things, The Hague Evidence Convention, this particular issue being
presented to the United States Supreme Court.

Represented
a Michigan contractor in the trial court and appeals through
to the Texas Supreme Court and established in Texas the obligation
to arbitrate Deceptive Trade Practices claims under an interstate
contract.

Represented
a multi-national company on a claim arising out of a botched
aircraft conversion recovering $20 million when the initial
demand was $13 million.

Negotiated
and closed acquisitions of four DC9 aircraft from U.S. Airways.

Negotiated
and closed capital leases on two former Northwest Airlines B-727
aircraft.
-
Addressed
crises with the Department of Transportation and the Federal
Aviation Administration restoring credibility and a strong,
constructive working relationship.

Developed
the methodology and supervised the preparation of a Termination
for Convenience claim against the U.S. Government resulting
in a recovery in excess of $20 million.
